Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SM5-1 is a humanized mouse monoclonal antibody that targets a membrane protein of approximately 230 kDa overexpressed in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), melanoma, and breast cancer. It is used for targeted therapy due to its ability to inhibit cell growth and induce apoptosis. SM5-1 has been conjugated with gold nanoparticles and other materials to enhance its antitumor efficacy in HCC treatment[1][3][5].
