Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SMP-190 is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) under development for the treatment of solid tumors and unspecified cancers. The drug consists of a monoclonal antibody targeting carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), conjugated to a topoisomerase I inhibitor payload (Dxd), which is an exatecan derivative. The ADC is designed using the Innovative Coupled Drug Platform to deliver cytotoxic agents directly to CEA-expressing tumor cells, thereby increasing antitumor efficacy while minimizing systemic toxicity. It is being developed by Chengdu Xilingyuan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (also known as Xiling Lab) and is currently in Phase I clinical trials for solid tumors[1][2][3].
