SN-PDL01

SN-PDL01 is a monoclonal antibody being developed by Fountain Biopharma for the treatment of neoplasms. It functions as an immune checkpoint inhibitor by targeting programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1), a protein often overexpressed on the surface of tumor cells and within the tumor microenvironment. By binding to PD-L1, SN-PDL01 prevents its interaction with the programmed death-1 (PD-1) receptor on T-lymphocytes. This blockade interrupts the inhibitory signaling pathway that tumors exploit to evade immune detection, thereby restoring the anti-tumor activity of cytotoxic T cells and enhancing the body's natural immune response against cancer.
