SNA-003

SNA-003 is a novel drug candidate being developed as a conjugate formulation with glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1) agonist activity. It is intended for the treatment of metabolic diseases, specifically diabetes, obesity, and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH). The drug has demonstrated improved properties in preclinical studies and is currently in the preclinical stage of development. The mechanism of action involves GLP-1 receptor agonism, which enhances insulin secretion, suppresses glucagon release, slows gastric emptying, and reduces appetite—mechanisms that are beneficial for glycemic control and weight loss[5].
