SNA-XFSC is a micro-immunotherapy agent developed by Labo'Life Belgium, specifically designed for the treatment of Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infections. It is a preparation of specific nucleic acids (SNA) targeting the Epstein-Barr virus genome as well as HLA Class I and HLA Class II sequences. Produced through a high-dilution process, these nucleic acids are intended to modulate the host's immune response and potentially interfere with viral replication. SNA-XFSC is typically administered sublingually in the form of globules, which are designed to be absorbed by the oral mucosa to interact with the lymphatic system. While it has been studied as a standalone intervention in clinical trials, it also serves as the nucleic acid component of the broader micro-immunotherapy product 2LEBV, which additionally contains low-dose cytokines.
