Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SNA004 is a radiopharmaceutical diagnostic imaging agent under development by SmartNuclide (Suzhou SmartNuclide Biopharmaceutical). It is a nanobody-based tracer designed to target the Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2) for the detection and monitoring of HER2-positive solid tumors, primarily breast cancer and gastric cancer. The agent is intended for use in Positron Emission Tomography (PET) imaging, typically utilizing the radioisotope Gallium-68 (68Ga). SNA004 is currently in the IND-enabling stage of development. Although some early OCR-extracted pipeline documents incorrectly identified the target as Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH), the clinical indications and company development focus confirm its specificity for HER2.
