SNAIL1 siRNA is an experimental small interfering RNA (siRNA) designed to target and silence the SNAIL1 (SNAI1) gene, which encodes a zinc-finger transcription factor that acts as a master regulator of the epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT). By knocking down SNAIL1 expression, this research-stage compound suppresses cancer cell migration, proliferation, invasion, and metastasis, while inducing apoptosis. It has been widely utilized in preclinical and in vitro research across various oncology models, including breast cancer, bladder cancer, esophageal cancer, endometrial carcinoma, and melanoma. It is not commercially developed by a single pharmaceutical company and remains a laboratory research tool.
