Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SND 462-AM is a small molecule inhibitor of Right Open Reading Frame Kinase 2 (RIOK2), currently in development by Floratek Pharma for the treatment of colorectal cancer. RIOK2 is an atypical kinase that plays a critical role in ribosome biogenesis and cell cycle progression; its inhibition is hypothesized to disrupt protein synthesis and induce apoptosis in malignant cells. The program is currently in the IND-enabling phase of preclinical development.
