Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SND504 is a novel flavonoid derivative developed by Floratek Pharma in collaboration with the Institute of Oncology Research (IOR). It belongs to a series of polyphenol-based compounds designed to act as microtubule-targeting agents for the treatment of various cancers. In preclinical studies presented at AACR 2024, SND504 demonstrated dose-dependent anti-proliferative activity across several lymphoma models, including diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), mantle cell lymphoma (MCL), and marginal zone lymphoma (MZL), as well as in leukemia and solid tumor models. Notably, the compound maintained its anti-tumor activity in MZL cell lines with acquired resistance to BTK and PI3K inhibitors. While SND504 exhibited a median IC50 of 2 μM, which is less potent than some other members of its series (such as SDN207 and SND210), it represents a new class of plant-derived skeletons being optimized for improved anti-cancer efficacy and bioavailability.
