Overview

SNG1153 (also known as Fukelading) is a small molecule inhibitor developed by Beijing Shenogen Pharma Group. It is currently in Phase 1 clinical development for the treatment of liver carcinoma and lung cancer. The drug is specifically designed to target and inhibit lung cancer stem/progenitor cells, which are a subpopulation of tumor cells associated with chemoresistance, metastasis, and disease recurrence. SNG1153 is part of Shenogen's broader research program focusing on the modulation of the estrogen receptor alpha variant ERα36 and related signaling pathways, such as the IL-6/Jak2/Stat3 axis, to suppress tumor growth and stemness in solid malignancies.
