SNHG10 ASO is an antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) designed to target and silence the long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) SNHG10 (Small nucleolar RNA host gene 10). SNHG10 is significantly overexpressed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) and correlates with advanced clinical stages. It functions as an oncogene by acting as a molecular sponge for miR-150-5p, which leads to the upregulation of Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor A (VEGFA) and subsequent activation of the EGFR/AKT/mTOR and MAPK/ERK signaling pathways. By silencing SNHG10, the ASO inhibits cell proliferation, migration, and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), induces cell cycle arrest and apoptosis, and restores sensitivity to gemcitabine. Preclinical studies in PDAC xenograft models have demonstrated that SNHG10 ASO treatment effectively suppresses tumor growth.
