Overview

**SNIPR001** is an investigational precision antimicrobial developed by SNIPR Biome. It is a cocktail of four engineered CRISPR-Cas-armed bacteriophages designed to selectively infect and eliminate *Escherichia coli* in the gastrointestinal tract while minimizing disruption of commensal microbiota. The oral program is in Phase 1b/2a development for prevention of fluoroquinolone-resistant *E. coli* bloodstream infections in patients with hematologic malignancies undergoing allogeneic hematopoietic stem-cell transplantation and receiving fluoroquinolone prophylaxis. A completed first-in-human Phase 1 study in healthy participants supported oral safety, tolerability, gastrointestinal restriction, and pharmacodynamic reduction of targeted *E. coli* colonization.
