Sniron XT

Sniron XT is a combination nutritional supplement developed by SNIG Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd for the treatment and prevention of iron deficiency anaemia. It contains three active components: ferrous ascorbate, folic acid, and zinc sulphate monohydrate. Ferrous ascorbate provides a highly bioavailable form of elemental iron, which is essential for the synthesis of haemoglobin and the transport of oxygen in the blood. Folic acid, a B-vitamin, is critical for DNA synthesis and the maturation of red blood cells, making it particularly vital during pregnancy to support fetal development and prevent neural tube defects. Zinc sulphate monohydrate provides elemental zinc, an essential trace mineral that supports immune function, protein synthesis, and cellular growth. Sniron XT is indicated for iron supplementation in conditions such as pregnancy, lactation, menorrhagia, and during growth spurts in children and adolescents.
