Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SNIZTOP GUM is a consumer health dietary supplement developed by Stragen Pharma Group for the relief of allergic rhinitis symptoms. It is formulated as a chewing gum containing a proprietary blend of quail egg (PBQE) rich in ovomucoids. These proteins act as serine protease inhibitors that block the interaction between allergens and IgE on mast cells, thereby preventing the release of histamine and other inflammatory mediators. The chewing gum format facilitates sublingual absorption and continuous release of bioactives, with clinical studies demonstrating symptom reduction (rhinorrhea, itchy eyes, nasal obstruction) within 5 minutes of intake. It is marketed as a drug-free, non-drowsy alternative for both seasonal and perennial allergies.
