Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SNK-02 is an allogeneic natural killer (NK) cell therapy genetically engineered to express a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) targeting the human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2). It is designed as an off-the-shelf, highly scalable product with high purity and cytotoxicity against HER2-expressing tumor cells. The therapy leverages SuperNK technology and is administered intravenously. Its primary mechanism involves direct recognition and killing of HER2-positive cancer cells via the CAR construct on NK cells. SNK-02 is being developed by NKGen Biotech for the treatment of various solid tumors that overexpress HER2, including breast cancer, gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, leiomyosarcoma, angiosarcoma, endometrial cancer, and undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma[1][4][5].
