SNK01 + avelumab

SNK01 + avelumab is a combination of two distinct immunotherapies: SNK01, an autologous, non-genetically modified, enhanced cytotoxic natural killer (NK) cell therapy, and avelumab, a programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) immune checkpoint inhibitor monoclonal antibody. SNK01 is designed to augment innate immune cell cytotoxicity against tumor cells, and avelumab blocks the interaction between PD-L1 and its receptor PD-1, thereby releasing cancer cells from immune suppression and activating both adaptive and innate immunity. This combination aims to enhance antitumor activity, especially in advanced sarcoma, by simultaneously boosting NK cell function and inhibiting immunosuppressive signaling. Interim phase 1 data show that the combination is generally well tolerated and exhibits evidence of clinical activity in heavily pretreated and refractory sarcoma, independent of tumor PD-L1 status.
