Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SNK01 + gemcitabine + carboplatin + cetuximab is a combination regimen evaluated primarily for the treatment of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR)-mutated non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) resistant to prior tyrosine kinase inhibitor therapies. **SNK01** is an autologous, non-genetically modified natural killer (NK) cell therapy, which exerts antitumor effects through antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) and direct tumor cell lysis. When combined with **gemcitabine** (a nucleoside analog antimetabolite chemotherapeutic), **carboplatin** (a platinum-based DNA crosslinking agent), and **cetuximab** (an anti-EGFR monoclonal antibody), this regimen simultaneously targets tumor cells through cytotoxic chemotherapy, targeted inhibition of EGFR signaling, and immune-mediated mechanisms. The addition of cetuximab enhances NK cell-mediated ADCC by bridging EGFR on tumor cells with Fc receptors on NK cells, increasing tumor cell susceptibility to lysis.
