Overview

**SNK01 + trastuzumab** is an investigational combination therapy comprising two distinct agents: SNK01 (also known as troculeucel), an autologous, ex vivo expanded, enhanced-activity, non-genetically modified natural killer (NK) cell therapy, and trastuzumab, a monoclonal antibody targeting the human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2). SNK01 utilizes autologous NK cells with increased cytotoxicity for improved immunotherapeutic effect. Trastuzumab binds HER2 and mediates antitumor effects through direct receptor blockade and antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC). This combination has been developed for advanced/metastatic HER2-positive cancers that are refractory to conventional treatments. Early clinical studies focused on safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy in advanced malignancies expressing HER2, with clinical development led by NKGen Biotech. The mechanism of action is hypothesized to include enhanced ADCC from synergistic activity between SNK01 NK cells and trastuzumab[1][2][4][5].
