Overview

SNP-810 (SafeTynadol) is a novel, high liver safety formulation of acetaminophen developed to address the risk of hepatotoxicity associated with conventional acetaminophen products. It is designed to significantly reduce the formation of toxic metabolites in the liver, thereby minimizing the risk of acute liver failure even at doses up to three times higher than the current maximum recommended daily dose for standard acetaminophen. Clinical trials have demonstrated that SNP-810 does not cause clinically significant liver toxicity or serious adverse reactions at these elevated doses in healthy individuals. The drug has completed Phase 2 clinical trials for pain management, including postoperative pain following knee replacement surgery. Its mechanism involves inhibiting hepatic enzymes responsible for generating toxic metabolites from acetaminophen metabolism[1][3][6].
