Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SNP210 is a human autoantibody developed by SciNeuro Pharmaceuticals for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, specifically Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD). The drug targets TAR DNA-binding protein 43 (TDP-43), a protein that forms pathological aggregates in the central nervous system of patients with these conditions. By targeting TDP-43, SNP210 is designed to mitigate the proteinopathy associated with disease progression. It is currently in preclinical development.
