Overview

SNRPE siRNA is a small interfering RNA (siRNA) designed to target and downregulate the expression of small nuclear ribonucleoprotein polypeptide E (SNRPE), a core component of the spliceosome assembly. In preclinical oncology research, siRNA-mediated knockdown of SNRPE has been shown to inhibit cell proliferation, downregulate the mTOR pathway, and induce autophagy or pyroptosis in various cancer cell lines, including breast, prostate, lung, and melanoma cancers. The therapeutic concept of targeting SNRPE with siRNA was pioneered by researchers at the Institut Gustave Roussy.
