SNTX-1675

SNTX-1675 is a naturally occurring small molecule compound identified by Sensorium Therapeutics using its Sens-AI platform. It is characterized by dual anti-seizure and anxiolytic properties and has a history of reported human use for these indications. In preclinical evaluations, SNTX-1675 demonstrated efficacy in various rodent seizure models, including the 6 Hz psychomotor and corneal kindling assays, as well as in the marble-burying model for anxiety, notably without inducing motor impairment. SNTX-1675 served as the parent scaffold for the development of SNTX-EA, a synthetic derivative optimized for enhanced central nervous system (CNS) pharmacokinetics and potency in pharmacoresistant epilepsy models.
