Overview

SNV1521 + trastuzumab deruxtecan is an experimental combination regimen under investigation for advanced solid tumors. Trastuzumab deruxtecan is an antibody-drug conjugate consisting of a humanized anti-HER2 IgG1 monoclonal antibody (trastuzumab) covalently linked to the topoisomerase I inhibitor deruxtecan (DXd) via an enzymatically cleavable peptide-based linker. In this combination, SNV1521 (exact modality not detailed in search) is being studied alongside trastuzumab deruxtecan for potential synergistic antineoplastic effects. Trastuzumab deruxtecan works by binding to HER2 on cancer cells, leading to internalization and lysosomal cleavage to release DXd, which induces DNA damage and cell death in HER2-expressing tumors.
