Sodimel

Sodimel is a topical antioxidant product line developed by the Mexican pharmaceutical company Farmapiel. The formulation's primary active ingredient is Superoxide Dismutase (SOD), an antioxidant enzyme extracted from French Cantaloupe melon (Cucumis melo). Sodimel is designed to neutralize free radicals and combat oxidative stress, which are major contributors to photoaging and skin damage caused by environmental factors like pollution and UV radiation. The topical serum (Sodimel SP or Suero Facial) also incorporates a blend of ceramides, an amino acid complex (acetyl tyrosine and proline), and algae extract-pullulan to support the skin barrier and protect collagen and elastin structures. It is marketed for various skin types to prevent premature aging and maintain skin integrity.
