Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Hyabak is a preservative-free, hypotonic ophthalmic solution containing 0.15% sodium hyaluronate, developed by Laboratoires Théa for the hydration and lubrication of dry, tired, or irritated eyes. It is indicated for the treatment of dry eye disease, including evaporative dry eye, and is compatible with contact lens wear. Delivered via the proprietary ABAK multidose bottle system, which maintains sterility without preservatives, Hyabak works by restoring the osmotic balance of the tear film and providing long-lasting moisture to the ocular surface. Some formulations also contain actinoquinol, which provides UVB protection to the ocular surface.
