SOL-002 is a preclinical-stage bispecific therapeutic candidate developed by Solu Therapeutics for the treatment of multiple myeloma. It is engineered using the company's proprietary CyTaC (Cytotoxicity Targeting Chimera) platform, which utilizes a small molecule bridge to link a tumor-targeting antibody with an effector-recruiting antibody, effectively functioning as a next-generation T-cell engager. SOL-002 specifically targets B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA), a protein highly expressed on the surface of malignant plasma cells, to facilitate T-cell mediated cytotoxicity. The CyTaC platform is designed to overcome limitations of traditional bispecific antibodies, such as manufacturing complexity and stability, by allowing for modular assembly of the therapeutic components. The program is currently being advanced toward clinical entry following the company's seed financing in late 2023.
