SOL-603 is a preclinical-stage monoclonal antibody designed to target **CD47** (Leukocyte surface antigen CD47), a transmembrane protein often overexpressed on the surface of various cancer cells. CD47 serves as a "don't eat me" signal by interacting with SIRPα on macrophages, thereby inhibiting phagocytosis and allowing tumor cells to evade the immune system. By binding to CD47, SOL-603 acts as an antagonist, blocking this inhibitory interaction and promoting the phagocytic clearance of cancer cells by the innate immune system. Developed by **Solu-M** (through its biotech subsidiary **Solu-Bio**), the candidate is being investigated for the treatment of solid tumors and hematologic malignancies.
