Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Solacy Pédiatrique is an over-the-counter (OTC) combination drug developed by Laboratoires Grimberg for the symptomatic adjunctive treatment of nasopharyngeal disorders (such as rhinopharyngitis, rhinitis, and the common cold) in infants over 6 months of age and children. The formulation is delivered as a tablet for oral suspension and contains four active ingredients: L-cystine, precipitated sulfur, vitamin A (retinol acetate), and Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast. This combination works synergistically to reduce inflammation of the rhinopharyngeal mucosa, while the presence of vitamin A provides immunostimulating properties to support the child's immune system during upper respiratory tract infections.
