Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**SoloSite** is a Smith & Nephew amorphous topical hydrogel wound dressing used to support management of wounds including pressure ulcers. The water-rich, polyvinylpyrrolidone-based gel donates moisture to dry necrotic tissue and eschar while helping manage exudate, creating a moist wound environment that supports endogenous autolytic debridement and wound healing. It has been evaluated as a hydrogel comparator to clostridial collagenase ointment in pressure-ulcer debridement studies, including a terminated Phase 4 long-term-care trial.
