SON-3015 is a preclinical-stage bifunctional biologic candidate developed by Sonnet BioTherapeutics for the treatment of solid tumors and bone metastases. It is engineered using the company's proprietary Fully Human Albumin Binding (FHAB) platform, which utilizes a human single-chain antibody fragment (scFv) to bind to serum albumin. This mechanism is designed to extend the drug's half-life and enhance its accumulation within the tumor microenvironment. SON-3015 simultaneously targets and inhibits Interleukin-6 (IL-6) and Transforming Growth Factor beta (TGFβ), two key cytokines involved in immune suppression, tumor progression, and the development of bone metastases. Although the molecule has been generated and validated in early studies, Sonnet announced in 2024 that the development program was placed on hold to prioritize resources.
