Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SOOPR ES is an investigational, extended-protection long-acting injectable opioid antagonist being developed by Elysium Therapeutics. Utilizing the company's proprietary FOLAI (Fast-Onset, Long-Acting Injectable) platform, SOOPR ES is designed to provide rapid-onset and sustained exposure of an opioid antagonist to protect against prolonged or recurrent toxicity from high-potency synthetic opioids (such as fentanyl or nitazenes). The therapy is specifically aimed at operational and mass-casualty settings where repeated monitoring and redosing of short-acting rescue agents (like naloxone) can strain responders and resources. It is currently in preclinical development.
