Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Soothe Lubricant Eye Drops** is a preservative-free, single-use ophthalmic artificial-tear product marketed by Bausch + Lomb for temporary relief of dry-eye symptoms and prevention of further ocular irritation. The formulation contains the OTC lubricant active ingredients glycerin 0.6% and propylene glycol 0.6%, with sodium alginate and buffering/excipient components. It acts locally on the ocular surface by supplementing tear-film lubrication and moisture rather than through a specific receptor-mediated pharmacologic target. The labeled product is supplied in sterile 0.6 mL single-use vials and is recommended for dry-eye symptoms, including LASIK-related dryness.
