Overview

Sophora granules are a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) product derived from the Sophora plant species, often *Sophora flavescens* or *Sophora japonica*. It is a complex herbal preparation containing various active components, including flavonoids and alkaloids. In the context of triple-negative breast cancer, Sophora granules, or compounds isolated from Sophora such as Sophoraflavanone G, have demonstrated anti-tumor, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties. Studies suggest it can induce apoptosis, suppress cell migration and invasion, and enhance oxidative stress in cancer cells. Its mechanism of action involves modulating key cellular pathways and proteins associated with cancer progression.
