Soquelitinib is an investigational, oral, small molecule drug designed to selectively inhibit interleukin (IL)-2-inducible T cell kinase (ITK), a tyrosine kinase expressed predominantly in T cells and involved in regulating T cell and natural killer (NK) cell immune function. By targeting ITK, soquelitinib modulates immune responses relevant to both cancer and inflammatory diseases. It is being developed primarily for the treatment of relapsed or refractory peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL) and moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis. Interim clinical data have shown promising efficacy and safety profiles in both indications, with significant reductions in disease severity scores for atopic dermatitis and tumor responses observed in PTCL patients[2][4][5][6]. Soquelitinib has received FDA orphan drug designation for T-cell lymphomas as well as fast track designation for relapsed/refractory PTCL[3][5]. The drug is under development by Corvus Pharmaceuticals; Angel Pharmaceuticals is conducting clinical trials in China.
