Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SOR101 is an oral anti-TNFα Vorabody developed by Sorriso Pharmaceuticals for the treatment of immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI)-mediated colitis. It is a gut-restricted antibody therapy designed to reach inflamed intestinal mucosa and engage its target after oral dosing in humans. The drug aims to address colitis associated with ICI therapies, which are commonly used in cancer treatment but can cause significant gastrointestinal side effects such as immune-mediated colitis. By inhibiting tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFα) locally within the gut, SOR101 seeks to provide effective management of this adverse event while minimizing systemic immunosuppression[1][2][3].
