Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Sosimerasib is an orally bioavailable, investigational small molecule inhibitor of the oncogenic KRAS G12C mutation. It is being developed by Jemincare and licensed to HUYABIO International for global development outside Greater China. Sosimerasib is designed to selectively target and inhibit the KRAS G12C mutant protein, thereby halting proliferation and metastasis in susceptible tumor cells. Preclinical studies have shown its ability to penetrate the blood-brain barrier, addressing a critical unmet medical need in patients with KRAS G12C-mutant non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who often develop brain metastases. It is being investigated for the treatment of advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer and other solid tumors harboring the KRAS G12C mutation.
