Overview

Sovleplenib is a novel, selective, orally available small molecule inhibitor of spleen tyrosine kinase (Syk), developed for the treatment of hematological malignancies and immune diseases such as primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP). By binding to and inhibiting Syk, a key component in B-cell receptor (BCR) and Fc receptor signaling pathways, sovleplenib suppresses B-cell activation and modulates immune responses. This mechanism leads to immunomodulating and antineoplastic effects by preventing tumor cell activation, migration, adhesion, and proliferation. Sovleplenib has demonstrated efficacy in clinical trials for adult patients with primary ITP who have received at least one prior therapy[1][2][3][4][5][6][7].
