Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SOXAP is a multi-drug chemotherapy regimen primarily investigated for the treatment of gastric cancer. This regimen combines four distinct agents: S-1, an oral fluoropyrimidine derivative; oxaliplatin, a platinum-based chemotherapy drug; apatinib, an anti-angiogenic tyrosine kinase inhibitor; and camrelizumab, an immune checkpoint inhibitor. The combination aims to provide a comprehensive therapeutic approach by targeting cancer cells through various mechanisms, including DNA damage, antimetabolite action, inhibition of tumor angiogenesis, and activation of the immune system against cancer cells.
