Soy peptide refers to a mixture of small peptides derived from the enzymatic hydrolysis of soy protein isolate. These bioactive peptides are rich in essential amino acids and are considered "complete proteins" for human nutrition. Soy peptides have been shown to possess various functional properties including immunomodulatory, antioxidant, hypocholesterolemic effects, and potential benefits for diabetes, obesity, serum lipids regulation, and undernutrition[1][2][3].
