Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SoyLife 25 is a branded dietary supplement ingredient consisting of standardized soy germ extract rich in isoflavones, particularly daidzein. Manufactured by Frutarom Health (now part of International Flavors & Fragrances), it contains a high concentration of bioactive phytoestrogens derived exclusively from the germ portion of the soybean. Isoflavones are plant-derived compounds that can act as phytoestrogens—molecules structurally similar to human estrogen—which may exert weak estrogenic or anti-estrogenic effects depending on endogenous hormone levels. Clinical studies have shown that products containing SoyLife are associated with benefits for menopausal symptoms (such as hot flashes), bone health, and cardiovascular health; more recent research has explored potential cognitive and skin health benefits. The product is non-GMO and suitable for use in dietary supplements and functional foods[8][9].
