Overview
**SP0291** is Sanofi's investigational lipid nanoparticle-formulated mRNA trivalent respiratory vaccine candidate for prevention of disease caused by respiratory syncytial virus, human metapneumovirus, and parainfluenza virus type 3. The candidate is designed to induce antigen-specific immune responses, including neutralizing antibodies, against all three respiratory viruses. SP0291 has been evaluated in Phase 1 studies in healthy adults and older adults as a single intramuscular injection.
