Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SPARC127 is a bispecific antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) being developed by Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company (SPARC) for the treatment of solid tumors. As a bispecific ADC, it is designed to simultaneously target two different antigens or epitopes on tumor cells, which may enhance tumor selectivity and internalization efficiency while potentially overcoming resistance mechanisms associated with monospecific therapies. Once internalized, the ADC releases a cytotoxic payload to induce cell death. As of mid-2024, the specific molecular targets and the nature of the cytotoxic payload remain proprietary and have not been publicly disclosed by the sponsor. The program is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
