Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This investigational topical combination cream, developed by Dr. Irma Bernadette, is designed to mitigate skin irritation and accelerate healing following fractional CO2 laser treatment. The formulation contains a synergistic blend of Spent Grain Wax, Argan Oil (*Argania Spinosa* Kernel Oil), Shea Butter (*Butyrospermum Parkii* Extract), and Saccharide Isomerate, a combination commercially known as Stimu-tex AS™. Its primary mechanism involves restoring the skin's lipid barrier, reducing transepidermal water loss (TEWL), and providing anti-inflammatory effects to alleviate erythema, dryness, and itching. It is currently being evaluated in clinical trials for its safety and efficacy in women with photodamaged skin undergoing laser procedures.
