Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SPH HER2 ADC is a preclinical antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) program being developed by SPH Biotherapeutics. The therapeutic is designed to target the Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2), a cell surface receptor that is frequently overexpressed in various solid and hematologic malignancies. By binding to HER2, the ADC is intended to deliver a cytotoxic payload directly into tumor cells, thereby inducing cell death while minimizing systemic toxicity. The program is currently under evaluation for the treatment of HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer, as well as specific hematologic cancers including Hodgkin lymphoma and anaplastic large cell lymphoma. SPH Biotherapeutics is presently assessing the potential for clinical development of this candidate in the United States.
