Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SPH1188-11 is an investigational small molecule drug developed by Shanghai Pharmaceuticals Holding for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). It acts as an epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) antagonist, targeting tumors that have progressed after prior anti-cancer therapy. The drug was evaluated in a Phase I clinical trial to assess its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary efficacy in patients with locally advanced or metastatic NSCLC. The highest development status reached was Phase 1; however, the program has been suspended/withdraw/n and no further clinical development is ongoing[1][2][3].
