Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SpheroGel is an injectable, heterogeneous collagen-based hydrogel designed for regenerative medicine, primarily in orthopedics and traumatology. It is composed of animal-derived collagen microparticles and a complex of extracellular matrix components, including glycosaminoglycans and amino acids. The product acts as a biomimetic scaffold and stabilizer for hyaluronic acid, facilitating the restoration of joint tissues, tendons, and muscles. It is characterized by its ability to undergo slow resorption (lasting at least 3 months), providing sustained therapeutic effects in treating osteoarthritis and degenerative joint diseases. In addition to its orthopedic applications, SpheroGel is utilized in aesthetic medicine for skin rejuvenation and moisturization. The product is available in different formulations (Light, Medium, and Long) that vary in cross-linking density and duration of effect.
