SpirH is a botanical drug candidate derived from the extract of *Spiranthes sinensis*, an orchid species. Developed primarily for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia, SpirH aims to promote hair growth and prevent hair loss. Its mechanism of action is characterized by the inhibition of 5-alpha reductase, the enzyme responsible for converting testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which is a key factor in the miniaturization of hair follicles. Additionally, SpirH has been shown to stimulate the proliferation of dermal papilla cells and modulate signaling pathways involved in the hair follicle growth cycle.
