SPP4040

SPP4040 is a lipid-based, orally administered small molecule drug developed by SignPath Pharma for the prevention and mitigation of cardiac arrhythmias and cardiomyopathy, particularly those caused as side effects of cancer chemotherapy. It is designed to protect heart muscle from damage (cardiotoxicity) induced by various chemotherapeutic agents without reducing their efficacy or altering their pharmacokinetics. SPP4040 has demonstrated effectiveness in animal models at preventing arrhythmia and ameliorating QT prolongation associated with over 35 different drugs.
