Overview

**SPVN30** is a preclinical, mutation-agnostic adeno-associated virus gene-therapy candidate from SparingVision for retinitis pigmentosa. It is designed as a single all-in-one AAV construct combining the complementary biology of SPVN06 and SPVN20: expression of RdCVF and RdCVFL from the *NXNL1* gene to support cone metabolism and reduce oxidative stress, together with a GIRK potassium-channel approach intended to restore light responsiveness in dormant cones. The program is intended to provide both preservation of remaining cone photoreceptors and restoration of visual function across a broader retinitis pigmentosa population. SparingVision reported feasibility studies as ongoing. ([sparingvision.com](https://sparingvision.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/240923-SPVN-Corporate-Presentation-October-website.pdf))
