Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SPVX07 is a thermostable, fridge-free formulation of a Hepatitis B vaccine currently in preclinical development by Stablepharma in partnership with BB-NCIPD EAD (Bul Bio). The vaccine is developed using Stablepharma's proprietary StablevaX™ technology, which stabilizes liquid vaccines into a dry, temperature-resistant format, thereby eliminating the requirement for cold-chain infrastructure during transport and storage. SPVX07 is a reformulation of an existing Hepatitis B vaccine, intended to provide a more accessible and robust immunization solution, particularly for regions with limited refrigeration and challenging logistics. It aims to maintain the potency of the vaccine at high ambient temperatures while ensuring ease of administration.
